Integrative Therapy for Mind, Body, Heart, and Soul

In-person in Walpole, MA and virtually throughout Massachusetts

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

Much like eating disorders themselves, the journey to recovery can be complex, exhausting, and deeply personal. My approach integrates the science of clinical psychology with relational, cognitive, somatic, and creative practices to help clients gain clarity, reconnect with themselves, and build a more grounded, flexible, and stable relationship with food, body, and self.

Whether you’ve been struggling for a few months or 20 years, recovery is possible.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Lauren, a Clinical Psychologist specializing in disordered eating and clinical eating disorders, as well as identity work (who am I and what am I doing here), and life transitions.

My work is grounded in the understanding that wellbeing is rooted in connection—to ourselves, our bodies, our relationships, our surroundings, and a higher sense of meaning and purpose. I help clients explore, experience, build, and restore these connections through integrative and holistic practices that support the mind, body, heart, and soul.

In addition to my clinical training, my practice is informed by my experiences as a neurodivergent Reiki Master, yoga teacher, intuitive, and artist. As such, I also work with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns who are looking for a therapist who understands and respects their spiritual, intuitive, and creative sides.

I am a trusted guide and fellow traveler. My own journey of eating disorder recovery, trauma healing, and cancer survivorship has shown me that life’s greatest challenges can be portals to empowerment, freedom, and vitality. It is a joy and honor to guide and support my clients in their healing and recovery.

Please know that all parts of you are welcome and safe with me. This includes the ones that feel messy, uncertain, or difficult to name. My space is one where you can show up authentically, without masks, defenses, or the pressure to perform. There is no judgment or shame, no emotion too big, no experience too complicated, and no topic too taboo.

Therapy FAQs

HOW DO I SCHEDULE?

There are several ways to schedule an appointment.

WHAT IS THE SESSION COST?

$250 per session

Income-based sliding scale is available for those who may benefit.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance directly. However, if you have PPO or other plan with “out of network” benefits, part of your session may be reimbursed to you. Coverage is not guaranteed and will depend on your specific plan.

If you have a plan with out of network benefits, I will provide you with the proper documentation and help you submit for reimbursement.

EATING DISORDERS REQUIRE SPECIALIZED CARE. WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS?

I have worked extensively with individuals struggling with eating disorders, including five years of experience in a residential program, and additional experience in outpatient and college mental mental health settings.

I have also conducted research on eating disorders, including my doctoral dissertation: In and Through the Body: A Quantitative Exploration of Embodiment in Eating Disorders.

I believe that full recovery is possible and includes more than symptom reduction or coping. It is possible to build a grounded, connected, flexible, and free relationship with yourself, food, and your body.

CAN YOU COLLABORATE WITH MY MEDICAL DOCTOR AND/OR DIETICIAN?

Of course! I frequently work as part of a collaborative treatment team alongside medical doctors, dietitians, and other specialists. Whether you already have providers in place or are just getting started, I am happy to coordinate with your existing team or help connect you with eating disorder-informed medical providers and registered dietitians.

WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?

In-person sessions are held at my office in Walpole, MA.

Virtual sessions are held via a secure, HIPPA-Compliant telehealth platform.

DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE EATING DISORDERS?

Absolutely! While eating disorders are a specialty area of mine, I also work with adolescents and adults navigating identity exploration, life transitions, and a variety of other concerns. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent, artistic, intuitive, and spiritually minded individuals who are looking for a therapist who understands, respects, and welcomes these aspects of who they are.
